Scotlands Park Bowls Club play in the Coalville and District Triples league and also the over 60's Triples league.
A Triple is a team of three players whose position in order of play are lead, second and skip.
The Skip is in charge of the team.
A match consists of three teams playing three opposing teams.

We will be holding our Annual General Meeting and presentation evening at 19:00hrs on Friday 28th February. All members are welcome to attend. If anyone wants to raise a legitimate issue please let us know in plenty of time.

The 2025 season has been announced. The C & D Triples league has 23 teams divided into 3 divisions and is played on Thursday evenings. The Over 60's league has 23 teams and is also divided into 3 divisions and is played on Tuesday afternoons. Scotlands Park Bowls club is in division 2 of both leagues.
The World Indoor Bowls Championship competition is being played at Potters resort, Hopton from Friday 10th January 2025 to Sunday 26th January 2025. Details are on worldbowlstour.org. Click the youtube icon in the top right corner to view the matches.
​A great days bowling at the Coalville and Districts Gala kindly hosted by Ibstock Bowls Club.​​ The weather was kind to us with no breaks in play, except for lunch supplied courtesy of the League. Thanks to Joe Mellon for organising the competition. The new format was well recieved and everyone enjoyed the day.
Well done to all teams that took part.
Coalville and District over 60's Gala day will be held on Tuesday 24th September 2024. The venue will be Ibstock Bowls Club.
It will be played as triples with 14 teams entered.
Tea, Coffee and sandwiches will be provided at lunch break courtesey of the C & D League.
On Friday 23rd August we welcomed the congregation from St. Johns Church, Hugglescote to the club to enjoy a game of bowls and buffet. We look forward to seeing them all again soon.

We have a 2 wood Triples match today (13th July) at Scotlands Park starting at 14:00hrs. Opponents are from Kibworth B C.

A warm welcome was given to the congregation of Coalville's Methodist Church on Monday 1st of July. From novices upwards, all enjoyed a chance to bowl at Scotlands Park. Followed by a buffet and raffle. An enjoyable evening was had by all and we look forward to seeing you again in the not too distant future.

​Scotlands Park Bowls Club held a Quiz night on Friday 1st December and a great evening it was too. Many thanks to Roger for compiling all the questions and also the funny raffle that everybody won. Food was supplied by Dave and Nicky and funds were raised for the club. Thanks to everyone that turned out on a frosty evening to make it a fun night.
Congratulations to Scotlands Park for a strong performance in 2023 finishing 2nd in Division 3 and gaining promotion to Division 2 of the Coalville and District Triples league for the 2024 season. This has been achieved in only the second full season since the club has re opened.​

Coalville and District Triples League held their AGM on Sunday 19th November 2023. Scotlands Park were represented by Chairman David Larkin and his wife Nichola where they were presented with a pennant for runners up in division 3 and gaining promotion to division 2 for the 2024 season. Scotlands Park were also awarded £60 in prize money. Well done to everyone involved.
